> Worker's Compensation >
The state of Hawaii requires all employers with one or more employees
to provide workers' compensation insurance. There are certain exceptions
stated in the law. The workers' compensation law is designed to
provide benefit payments to an employee who is injured on the job.
To be a covered loss, bodily injury by accident must arise out of
and in the course of the injured employee's employment. Bodily injury
by disease must be caused or aggravated by the conditions of employment.
